The Great Kindness Challenge at Centennial was a huge success! Students met our school goal of performing 3,500 acts of kindness in 1 week.
Students completed a whopping 3,953 kinds acts. WOW! There certainly were a lot of smiling faces throughout our school. Kindness really is contagious!
Mrs. Kolb promised to do something crazy if we met our goal, so today during a virtual assembly some students from leadership council painted her hair RAINBOW COLORS! That brought some smiles to faces, too.

Students made signs with kind messages that were sent to some of the other schools in our district during their time in the library this week.
There were 5 dress up spirit days, students "mixed it up" at lunch on Wednesday by sitting with someone from another class to meet someone new. We rocked out during lunch recess on Thursday with a Kindness Dance Party, and see below for a video of chalk drawings and kind messages students created during recess.
We will keep on practicing kindness to help make our school a place where everyone feels safe, accepted, and valued. Way to go, RAMS!
